Listen up. Anyone who wants to promote ANYTHING. (Including Elliot Minor)

Don't you think the people in your friends lists on places such as myspace will be getting sick of seeing the same promo bulletins being spammed into the bulletin section?

If you REALLY want to help promote, then get off your lazy backsides and go out there and post flyers through doors, stick them up in public places, put flyers under window wipers of cars in shopping centre car parks, put fliers in cd stores with the cds and so on. You have to physically go out there and physically get involved in promoting. If you don't, then how are people who don't know about the guys, get to know about them? There could be kids too busy with school work, or uni students, or even adults at work, who are all too busy to put the tv on and wait for certain songs to come on the tv channels. Same with the radio.

Some people may have heard the song but forgotten who sang it and the name of the song, and seeing a flier may help them remember.

If you truly call yourself a fan, then get out there and physically help! It's the only real way forward! Hang around at gigs of similar music tastes if you're promoting a band and hand out fliers to people waiting in que.

Btw, that's a bulletin I sent out after a friend and I were discussing the promotion techniques. I know people mean good in promoting through bulletins, but only your friends, who will have seen them each time you posted them, will ever get to see them. Apologies for any language that some people may find offensive.
